Life Line Screening July 22 – You Must Pre-Register!

Life Line Screening has painlessly screened over 6 million participants to help avoid strokes and other conditions, and they have partnered with hospitals across the country to potentially save lives. There are 5 screenings available here at ERBC on Friday, July 22: Stroke/Carotid Artery ($60), Heart Rhythm ($60), Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm ($60), Peripheral Arterial Disease ($60), and Osteoporosis Risk Assessment ($35). Get all 5 screenings for only $149, a savings of $126. You must pre-register by calling 1-800-324-1851.

Volunteer for Greenville Literacy

Greenville Literacy’s five learning centers are open and looking for volunteers to help other adults improve their reading, writing or math skills, prepare for the GED or learn to speak English. Working Wednesdays will be held each Wednesday during the summer except for June 29. Working Wednesdays are for all children who were in K4 – 5th grade children’s choirs this past school year. We will meet at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall (Superstars area).

Donate Used Literature for Luke 19:10 Ministries

Luke 19:10 Ministries takes Bibles, books for Bible Colleges and pastors, hymnals for churches, and quarterlies and ships them to believers in poor countries so they can learn more about Jesus. VBS is Coming July 11-15!

VBS is coming July 11-15, so look for the PYRAMID in the hallway to sign up where you would like to help! You can also click this link to register your children online.

We have lots of needs that you can fill, so please be in prayer for how you can help out this summer! These are just a few of the needs we have:

Woodworkers – people to cut out some simple blocks from thin wood.

Food from your gardens – if you have any vegetables from your garden that are extra we will take them – particularly cucumbers and any kind of melons. If you have those by VBS week please give your extras to us!

Donations of popsicles – the kind that are in a long plastic tube that you cut the end off of to eat – not frozen when you buy them. Many stores have these on sale now for around $1 for 10 to 12 popsicles. You can start bringing those to the Family Ministries offices right away.

For people to keep VBS workers’ children who are too young to attend VBS. You will not take the children to VBS – just take care of them while their parents are serving in VBS.

Donations of Mardi Gras beads for a VBS craft – these do not need to be new.

Costuming Room volunteers – we need you for the first two VBS nights.
